I am definitely a bit of an introvert; I need my alone time to reflect and recharge. But that doesn’t mean I don’t need people, too – and boy I am craving connection these days. Being with a group of people (used to be) an integral part of my job, and I love big events, concerts, running groups, and getting together with friends. So needless to say, I am missing being with “my people”. I can’t imagine how the extroverts are doing! (Thanks, Covid.)
While I am happy that our world is slowly opening up again, everything is understandably working at small capacities, and we are still to keep our distance from one another. In order to fill my recent craving for connection, I’ve created some solutions around fitness.
Exercise naturally releases those feel-good endorphins, and by including others you get an added boost of encouragement, accountability, and conversation. So let’s come together!

Three Ways to Connect With Me Through Fitness
1. Join Lesley Logan and I on Sunday, September 20 at noon PST – for a virtual pop-up class!
What is a virtual pop-up class? It is all about bringing Pilates lovers in your community together for a Pilates workout and Q&A! You and your friends will move, flow, and laugh together, and Lindsay Logan will be live virtually, leading you through the class. Of course, I’ll be hosting and doing the class with you! Sign up here.
2. Subscribe to the b.Pilates & Fitness App. Sure, you could work out alone, but why not join with a friend so you can support each other! Meet outdoors to complete the workouts or simply stay in touch to keep each other accountable. Plus, when you subscribe, you can join the private Facebook group to meet others doing the same workouts as you.
3. Attend a b.Pilates & Fitness class, either in person or online. The studio is open, limited to three attendees at a time. Or, you can choose to attend mat classes virtually from home. View the schedule and sign up here.
The way we live and move through our days may be different right now, but with a bit of creativity we can get back to fitness and interacting with our social groups again. So if you are craving connection like I am, I can’t wait to see (or meet!) you – either in person, or virtually.
