Summer has become the season of procrastination. As children, we spent the summer running through the sprinklers, playing in lakes, and tearing up the neighbourhood from sunrise to sunset. As adults, we seem to cling to that feeling of no-responsibility (“l’ll start in September,” we say). But instead, we just laze about! Well guess what? Summer is the PERFECT time to start something new – especially if you want to start Pilates or Personal Training.
We like to think of September as the beginning of routine, because that is when school starts. Back to reality, right? Summer fun is over, the kids are in school, work picks up again – why wouldn’t September be the next “perfect time” to start Pilates or Personal Training, eating better, that new hobby, or whatever you have been putting off?
In reality, the whole year is filled with holidays, long weekends, and vacations. Christmas? May Long Weekend? There is always SOMETHING waiting to disrupt your momentum. I’m not saying this to discourage you – I want you to see that NOW is the time to start that thing you have been putting off. And I want to help you start Pilates this Summer, when you have more time, the studio has extra time, the days are longer, and you have the most energy.
Starting NOW is always the best time, because it will only get easier, become more a part of your regular routine, and the next time a long weekend or vacation pops up? You will be ready to get going again, because fitness has become an integral part of your life.
Start Pilates or Personal Training this Summer by signing up for the Introductory Package. It is 3 Private Sessions to get you comfortable, and started on your fitness journey.
