Program Options
Step 1: Mat Pilates the Original 37 Exercises. Just like Joe did!
Learn the original 37 exercises as they are outlined in Joseph Pilates’ book, Return to Life Through Contrology.
In this 100 hour teacher training we cover the original mat exercises, anatomy, practice teaching, safety, and history of Pilates. Upon completion and final testing, you will receive a certificate of completion from b.Pilates Teacher Training. You will be qualified to teach mat Pilates classes and to write the NCPC – PMC – Mat Certification exam through the National Pilates Certification Program (optional). NCPC – PMC mat exam
5 hours per week homework, practice teaching and self practice.(This program is required before taking our full comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training program. Teachers who have completed another mat teacher training program may skip this step if they pass our mat assessment.)

Step 2: The Full Comprehensive Classical Pilates Program
As you are aware, Joseph Pilates developed the Pilates method and invented many apparatus to support his students in their journeys to better physical and mental health.He saw the need to add springs for support and resistance to help him to teach the method with more ease and for his students to have this to help them grow stronger, improve mobility, flexibility and awareness of how they were moving.
In this 500 hour teacher training we cover the original exercises on all of the apparatus, including reformer, mat, tower/cadillac, pedopole, ladder barrel, the wunda chair, spine corrector, magic circle and other smaller apparatus. Along with the exercises we continue to study movement, anatomy, the history of Pilates, practice teaching, safety and more. Upon completion and final testing, you will receive a certificate of completion from b.Pilates Teacher Training and will qualify to teach in a fully equipped Pilates studio or one that may only have reformers or mat. You would be able to write the NCPT– Comprehensive Pilates Certification exam through the National Pilates Certification Program (optional). NCPT – Comprehensive Exam

The Bridge Program
Are you a Pilates teacher who has completed a full comprehensive training and are looking for more? Perhaps you did a contemporary training or just want more clarity on the classical method. This 425 hour program is for you.
You will learn everything that we cover in the full comprehensive training but do not have to complete the required teaching hours that our trainees will need to complete. Asa seasoned teacher you will have different questions, and ah ha moments that will help you to keep becoming more confident in your teaching and understanding of how the method and all the apparatus fit together.
Upon completion and final testing, you will receive a certificate of completion from b.Pilates Teacher Training and will qualify to teach in a fully equipped Pilates studio or one that may only have reformers or mat.
